Sudirman (Live in Concert) 31 Ogos "Merdeka"

Chinese zodiac - Rooster

Personality

Occupying the 10th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rooster symbolizes such character traits as confidence, pompousness and motivation. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Rooster are loyal, trustworthy individuals who are blunt when it comes to offering their opinions. Their bluntness stems not from being mean but from being honest; a trait which Roosters expect from others.
Roosters are extremely sociable and prefer being the center of attention, always bragging about themselves and their accomplishments. They continually seek the unwavering attention of others which can be annoying. Roosters are as proud of their homes as they are of themselves. They’re extremely organized individuals as evidenced by the fact that their homes are always neat.

Health

Overall, Roosters are active individuals and their preference to be active helps keep them in good health. When they do become ill, they feel better quickly. They can at times however, take on too much and when that happens, they’ll feel stressed and moody.

Career

Roosters are highly motivated and hard-working; traits that enable most Roosters to have successful careers. Not surprisingly, Roosters make good actors, musicians and dancers. Other good career choices for Roosters include: CPA, banker, dentist, insurance agent, secretary, and book keeper. Roosters also do well in the armed forces.

Relationships

The Rooster’s bossiness and honest “tell it like it is” approach doesn’t work well with sensitive individuals. Roosters need to partner with those who are tough-skinned. They’re the individuals most capable of realizing that beneath the tough exteriors are huge, caring hearts overflowing with love.

Roosters and the 5 elements

Metal Rooster – Years 1921 and 1981

These Roosters have really big egos and are forever seeking willing listeners who can help keep those egos inflated. Metal Roosters analyze everything. Their aggressive nature keeps some prospective friendships and relationships from developing.

Water Rooster – Years 1933 and 1993

Water has a calming effect on this Rooster. Water Roosters don’t feel the need to rise above the crowd and their communication skills are more refined. Forever energetic and extremely detail-oriented, these Roosters can benefit from staying more focused on the end result rather than the minute details.

Wood Rooster – Years 1945 and 2005

More team oriented, Wood Roosters have many friends and acquaintances. Forever trying to seek the good rather than the evil in people as well as in life situations, their only fault is the tendency to not complete what they start. This happens because they frequently take on more than they can handle.

Fire Rooster – Years 1957 and 2017

Roosters in every sense, Fire Roosters spend much of their time perfecting their images. They’re terrific social organizers and excellent leaders. However they are overly blunt and this trait often hurts the feelings of others.

Earth Roosters – Years 1909 and 1969

Extremely organized and detail-oriented, Earth Roosters are excellent at multi-tasking. They’re motivated by success, and set high standards that they expect others to follow. These expectations of others can lead to animosity so Earth Roosters need to adopt a more subtle approach.

Compatibility

Roosters are most compatible with an Ox or Snake and most incompatible with a Goat and a Rabbit.

The Sears Tower

Not content with having the tallest building in America , the owners of Willis Tower in Chicago have installed four glass box viewing platforms which stick out of the building 103 floors up.

The balconies are suspended 1,353 feet in the air and just out four feet from the building's Skydeck.

Visitors get their first view from The Ledge -- four glass balconies suspended from the Tower.

Designers say the platforms - collectively dubbed The Ledge - have been purposely created to make visitors feel as they are floating above the city. The reward is unobstructed views of Chicago from the building's west side and a heart-stopping vista of the street and Chicago River below - for those brave enough to look straight down. It's like walking on ice.

John Huston, one of the owners of the Willis Tower , even admitted to getting 'a little queasy' when he ventured out on to the balcony. However, after 30 or 40 trips, he seems to have gotten used to it.

Long way up: Even the floor of the platforms are glass - few are brave enough to look straight down.  Although some adults felt dizzy after experiencing The Ledge, children seemed to take it in their stride.

Fearless: Five-year-old Anna Kane spreads out on the floor of the 10ft square box which is 1,353 ft up.

Thrill seekers: The boxes jut out four feet from the building and were specifically designed to attract visitors.  The Willis Tower has always been about superlatives - tallest, largest, most iconic.

The Ledge is the world's most awesome view, the world's most precipitous view, the view with the most wow in the world. The balconies are 10ft high and 10ft wide, can hold five tons, and have glass which is 1.5 inch thick.

Inspiration came from the hundreds of forehead prints visitors left behind on The  Skydeck windows every week. Now, staff have a new glass surface to clean: floors!

Architect Ross Wimer said: 'We did studies that showed a 4' X 4' deep enclosure makes you feel like you're detached from the building particularly since there's only room for one row of people.'

The Ledge is accessible from The Skydeck which attracts 25,000 visitors on clear days. They each pay $15 to take an elevator ride up to the 103rd floor of the 110-story office building that opened in 1973.

Whew!

Pakej 3 hari di HKL akibat tonsilitis

Alhamdulillah..selesai sudah op utk tonsil SSL yang sekian lama menghantui dan membebani diri..cewahhh. Bayangkan la tonsil ni dah semakin teruk sampai dah dekat 2 minggu demam tak fully recover tu dan mak pulak dah bising sebab saya asyik tangguh jumpa doktor.

Teringat dulu masa sakit tonsil semasa kerja kat UN, seorang manager tu cakap kena makan aiskrim, memula rasa pelik sebab ishh tak masuk akal tapi bila kena serangan dan saya pun cuba..wahh memang berkesan sebab aiskrim akan buat rasa kebas jadi nak makan apa pun tak perlu takut tapi kalau sesiapa ada tonsil dan tahap macam saya yg boleh tengok sendiri blisters kat kedua2 belah dalam tekak dan bila telan air liur pun sakit sampai ke telinga, saya syorkan buang la tonsil tu sebab seorang dewasa InshaAllah tak ada yang perlu dikhuatirkan.

Setelah selesai sesi berjumpa doktor dan sesi berjumpa pakar bius yang menerangkan pro dan cons..yang agak menakutkan tapi bertabah lah untuk get rid the tonsil.

01 Ogos 2010 kena daftar masuk HKL dan siap mintak kat dhubby sy nak 1st class tapi yang 4 katil sebab kalau katil berdua erkkk mmg tak la nak dok dengan kesunyian tu tapi bilik yang sy dapat pun tak de pulak pesakit la pulak..so masih seorang jugak kat SW14 nihehe.
